Amira Allen is a Visiting Assistant Professor at Drake University for the Sociology and Women . Her research interests include work-family conflict, parent-child relationships, and work-family policies, with an emphasis on the role of gender and race in shaping work and family roles and parenting practices.
Teaching parents how to regulate their emotions, manage stress, and model emotional resilience for their child with practical, science-based tools.
